Our 2019 Convention Charity:

Dixon Center is powered by Fedcap, a national nonprofit founded in 1935 by three World War I veterans, which develops innovative solutions for people with barriers to economic well-being resulting in relevant, and sustainable impact in the lives of those served and the communities in which they live.

Dixon Center for Military & Veterans Services

Many organizations across the nation work with Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services with our team providing leadership, tested solutions, research, and training dedicated to helping organizations and communities improve the quality of life of veterans and military families. At Dixon Center, we believe our veterans and military families can succeed where they live. Our mission is to ensure that's possible in every community. We work to break down barriers, drive a new conversation about the potential of our veterans, engage organizations and communities, and connect veterans and military families with what they need for meaningful employment, education and overall wellness.

We do this by:

• Bringing together people, traditional and non-traditional resources and expertise to assist our strategic partner network to innovate, transform and expand services.

• Fostering, strengthening and expanding community-based connections to harness local supports and services for veterans and their families.

• Acting as a recognized and visible network and voice for military and veterans services, we create opportunities while advocating on behalf of our veterans and their families.

“Dixon Center has defined the American model of excellence for the successful reintegration of our veterans and military families. From their tireless work in the Pentagon to the emergence of Dixon Center, the leadership inspires and encourages all of us to break down the silos and never forget to put veterans and their need first.”

Admiral Michael Mullen, U.S. Navy (Retired), 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
